EW: You laughed when I mentioned Nicolas’ Ice Queen outfit. So, would you have put that thing through?

NG: [Laughs] I can’t comment because it’s somebody else’s decision. It’s done. But yeah, I would have done things differently. Some things would have been different.

EW: Are you going to tell me which ones?

NG: [Laughs] No.

EW: What about Epperson? Another controversial elimination!

NG: Oh…I do agree with the decision to eliminate him.

Congratulations Carol Hannah

You wanted to show the judges that you could push it further. Well, did you ever!?! This week's challenge involved going over the top - a place that you stated you never went. And you were able to go there despite the distracting hotness of Logan. You artfully placed the feathers and employed sequins in a way that belied your lack of experience with the materials. Heidi phrased your dress a wow and called it chic. Bob Mackie admired your play of textures of black and the sophistication that you brought to this gown while Nina Garcia said that it was glamorous. Christina Aguilera said that she could see herself in this look and that it would show well on stage. You proved to yourself and to the judges that you know how, when and how much to push it and that the view from over-the-top is spectacular. Fabulous triumph, Carol Hannah!

BPR Love for Shirin Askari

Throughout the season you never played it safe and frequently it paid off landing you a spot near the top and a well-deserved win in the maternity challenge.

Your element is meticulous sophistication, much like Season 4 finalist Jillian Lewis. This week you were challenged to marry those two attributes with over-the-top, a place you had appropriately avoided going in previous episodes. One can only guess that you were less familiar with Bob Mackie and perhaps were not a big fan of Xtina.

In spite of your struggles Nina Garcia liked the top half of your gown and said that it had promise and she stated that you have talent. As a young designer with a long career ahead it is clear that you show promise much like other young designers before you like Daniel Vosovic and Christian Siriano and so we look forward to what is yet to come from you, Shirin.

Episode 9 Party!

This is how Nina looks on the BPR dance floor. Strangely enough, she also is also known to display that face whilst exorciating an unsuspecting designer who has not met her expectations! Either way, she is a perfect guest this evening in the BPR party room as we all watch Episode 9: "Sequins, Feathers and Fur, Oh My!" together. So cozy on up, it's BPR party time!
