BPR Love for Marion Lee

The concept you pitched to Sarah Jessica Parker was strong enough to earn the role of team leader. Your design may have been too ambitious and your fabric choice (on such a limited budget) was probably your worst enemy. But it was a pleasure to see you work with Steven and taking responsibility on the runway was honorable indeed. The finished garment looked far more expensive than your budget and even SJP likened it to Hermès. We already know that you are a success but we believe that even more opportunity will come your way because of this experience.

Marion Lee In Vogue, Veranda Magazines

Project Runway Season 4 designer Marion Lee had a necklace and a mention in the October issue of Vogue (page 270). His is the 'Black Hawk Skull Necklace' with Swarovski crystal and black glass beads that is "the glam side of counterculture." (Click on the picture at the left for a larger view.)




He also has a mention in the current (November/December) issue of Veranda (page 188). His adorable pugs look festive in the seasonal arrangement by Rajan Patel and Marion. (Click on the picture at the right for a larger view.)






Their business, Urban Flower/Grange Hall, is a Dallas shop that is styled like an edgy Fabergé egg. It is evident from his website that Marion Lee has an eye for detail that should translate into interesting garments on Project Runway.
