BPR Live Play-By-Play: Reunion

Okay, okay, you talked me into it. Much to the dismay of Mrs. Tbone, the reunion play-by-play is back on by popular request. Tune in here for live coverage as we check in again with all of your favorite Season 3 designers. A reminder that this thread is for Tbone's exclusive use. Have something to say? Head to the party room above.

T.G.I.W. (Part 2)

Is everyone ready for Keith's return tonight? Because there is no elimination this evening we will not have a play-by-play, only the party and reaction threads. We'll do our best to keep everyone well informed of the happenings in the party room, so make sure to tune in.

Meanwhile, lets take a peek in the mailbox:

Look, Cher's having a garage sale! One item of particular note hanging on the rack is this outfit which includes a Cosa Nostra original jacket designed by Jeffrey Sebelia. Isn't it iconic?

New to Project Runway? Here's a primer from a fellow addict in the Lincoln Journal Star. Thanks Karen.

We're starting to receive notices for finale viewing parties from all across the country. If you are in the Virginia Beach area, you may want to check out BPR recapper fave Amber's party. She has a super-cool pad, as evidenced by this feature on her in today's Christian Science Monitor. You know this party will be filled with snarky fun!

Reminder: if you haven't voted yet in our Top 5 Looks from Season 3 poll, do so now! Deadline for your vote to count in the tally is midnight tonight.

We're getting closer to the reunion! Who will be the first one to shed tears tonight?

A Note From Emmett McCarthy

Dear BPR:

This morning Tim Gunn was interviewed by Fine Living Network at EMc2. Tim is a featured guest speaking on the history and fashions for cocktail dressing. Audrey Hepburn's appearance in "Breakfast at Tiffanys" exemplifies the classic, chic, fun and glamourous dressing for cocktail parties according to TIm. Tim is standing in front of mannequins dressed from the EMc2 collection.

Afterward Tim autographed t shirts for fans who missed the Fall off the Runway event and want to have them before the season finale. Fans can order the last 50 autographed T shirts on line at
www.emmettmccarthy.com.

Look for Tim on tonight's Project Runway Reunion show, he told me it was seven hours of filming and it will be very interesting TV!

I am off to Paris for Fashion Week!

xxoo
Emmett

Poll Results "In" - Your BPR Fan Favorite

Tonight Bravo's Fan Favorite will be revealed and the winner will take home $10,000 for receiving the most viewer votes. Over a month ago we asked you to vote on the Season 3 BPR Fan Favorite and you selected your winner. You can click here to see how you voted. Michael Knight is the designer that you, the most ardent fans of Project Runway, have selected. This award comes only with bragging rights and this nifty post. Please, only positive comments here ... this is part of the reward!

Congrats, Michael!

T.G.I.W.

First, this article about large families (YAY!) includes a mention of Laura Bennett. Thanks Wendie, T&L.

Next, Archie sends this article about the rise of Bravo. There is a shoutout to BPR! I'll just cut to the good part:

Whether or not the strategy is working is hard to say. Runway fans, at least, are talking about their show. After the Fashion Week event, fans eager to discuss the details posted 953 comments in 24 hours to Bloggingprojectrunway.blogspot.com.

Meanwhile I got a little note from Diana Eng:

Hi Laura,
Thanks for the congratulations, and shout out on your site!

I've just uploaded my blog with info about the yahoo hack day competition. (Click here.)
Diana

Here is another story about Diana's hack day win! Thanks JF.

Wishing for some news about Santino Rice? Here is an article from Fort Wayne. Thanks Karen.

Last - it's the story that refuses to die - Yes, eonline, UPI, and Yahoo TV are all rehashing the "Laura accuses Jeffrey of outsourcing his sewing" story. Let's just watch what happens, okay? I'm including them in the interest of being the "complete" source of Project Runway news - but there is nothing new in these articles that we haven't already speculated about.

Just as an interesting aside.... I was in a local boutique last week which carries the Cosa Nostra line and it is completely fabulous! The boutique owners proudly showed me every single garment, and I even tried a piece on - a coat - which was gorgeous.

All of the designs are fascinating, unique, beautifully made and vey expensive. Jeffrey has a wonderful career already as a designer and surely his appearance on Project Runway will only add to his success. Go ahead - accuse me of being too nice. I can take it!

Tuesday Afternoon Mail

In partnership with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Institute, Mattel has just released the new Pink Ribbon Barbie, designed by Robert Best. Done as a way to open dialogue with children about breast cancer, this gorgeous doll "celebrates the incredible strength, beauty and resilience of women". Well done Robert! Thanks Valerie.

Season 2 model Danyelle makes an appearance in John Legend's newest music video. (She's the girl with the flower in her hair). Thanks Precious.

Marc Jacobs as guest PR judge? Not anytime soon, according to this interview. (Scroll down to the middle). Thanks Robin.

Jay McCarroll nose scratch alert! He gets a brief mention in this needlecraft article from The Daily Texan.

Abby passes along this very sweet mesage from Malan. He doesn't want to lose you!

Our old friend AJ just sent in this very late recap. Hi AJ!
